Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Dave with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Work ethic is something I’ve never had to give much thought to because it’s been ingrained in me from a young age. Growing up in a large family, I watched my parents work tirelessly, and hard work became second nature. I’ve always been drawn to “doers” and people who embody the same work ethic.

I started my first job in fourth grade delivering papers. From there, I worked my way through college, taking on various roles in the real estate industry. Each of these experiences helped shape the foundation of what we’ve built at Caskey Real Estate Group today.

As a Manhattan Beach luxury realtor specializing in Luxury Real Estate in Manhattan Beach and the broader Luxury Real Estate South Bay market, I’ve come to appreciate how much loving what you do fuels your ability to work hard. There’s also got to be something from within pushing you to the next level. It’s this drive that helps me deliver exceptional results for clients looking for luxury real estate in the South Bay.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

a. Growing up as the youngest of seven boys, I quickly learned the importance of getting along with others. For the past 35 years, I’ve dedicated myself to the real estate industry, not just as a career but as a way to connect deeply with our community. Being part of the Caskey Real Estate Group with offices in both Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, has allowed me to channel that passion into active involvement in the community and a commitment to giving back.

b. Manhattan Beach has been an incredible place to raise a family and build a career. The community offers so many opportunities to give back and connect with others. Some of my best memories come from coaching kids’ sports teams, serving as treasurer of the downtown business district, and partnering with over 19 local charities. These experiences have shaped the foundation of Caskey Real Estate Group. We understand that relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Helping clients navigate the Luxury Real Estate South Bay market isn’t just about buying or selling homes, it’s about building trust and fostering connections. Truly, it’s in giving that you receive the greatest rewards.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back at my journey, I can confidently say that hard work, loyalty, and seeking guidance from others have been pivotal to the success we’ve achieved at Caskey Real Estate Group. Success doesn’t happen overnight – it requires you to get up every day and go to work.

Secondly, surrounding yourself with like-minded people is essential. A spirit of loyalty and collaboration creates a space where everyone can thrive. In the world of Luxury Real Estate in Manhattan Beach, teamwork is everything.

I’ve been fortunate to have mentors and friends who have guided me along the way, to help shape my career as a Manhattan Beach luxury realtor. Paying that forward is something I take great pride in, whether it’s a colleague working towards their eXp Realty Icon Status or a family finding their dream home in the Manhattan Beach Real Estate market. Much of my happiness is derived from working with and helping others succeed.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

To further this mission, we formed Fast Forward Los Angeles, a peer group dedicated to sharing our years of expertise in Luxury Real Estate in the South Bay, (OR LOS ANGELES) while paving the way for the next generation of real estate professionals.

Looking ahead, the most successful brokerage models will be those that are tech-forward like eXp Realty, offering agents the tools to thrive while focusing on individual growth and ownership opportunities.
